Mr Sunak also had a phone call with the president of the European Commission, Ursula Von Der Leyen, in which Downing Street said the pair also discussed the conference and "efforts to galvanise international support for Ukraine and drive long-term public and private investment".
The PM and President Zelenskyy are looking forward to speaking at the Ukraine Recovery Conference being staged in London on Wednesday, adding that it's a "a unique opportunity to underline the strong public and private sector support for Ukraine". The PM reiterated the UK's support for Ukraine, and said the UK and US are "in lockstep in their unwavering support for Ukraine".
